Ron Paul is a closet racist, extremely reactionary, anti-immigrant, nativist far, far, far right politician.

Lets take the charges one at a time.

1. Racist :

These are some quotes that have been attributed to Ron Paul but were actually made by someone else.

“If you have ever been robbed by a black teen-aged male, you know how unbelievably fleet-footed they can be.”

“Given the inefficiencies of what D.C. laughingly calls the `criminal justice system,’ I think we can safely assume that 95 percent of the black males in that city are semi-criminal or entirely criminal,” .

“we are constantly told that it is evil to be afraid of black men, it is hardly irrational. Black men commit murders, rapes, robberies, muggings and burglaries all out of proportion to their numbers.”

In 2002 Paul did say.

“The true antidote to racism is liberty. Liberty means having a limited, constitutional government devoted to the protection of individual rights rather than group claims. Liberty means free-market capitalism, which rewards individual achievement and competence, not skin color, gender, or ethnicity. In a free market, businesses that discriminate lose customers, goodwill, and valuable employees – while rational businesses flourish by choosing the most qualified employees and selling to all willing buyers. More importantly, in a free society every citizen gains a sense of himself as an individual, rather than developing a group or victim mentality. This leads to a sense of individual responsibility and personal pride, making skin color irrelevant. Rather than looking to government to correct what is essentially a sin of the heart, we should understand that reducing racism requires a shift from group thinking to an emphasis on individualism.”

Paul has also been called a racist because he alone voted against giving Rosa Parks a Congressional Gold Medal. But he has voted against giving anyone a Congressional Gold Medal because its not constitutional.

He did volunteer to personally contribute towards getting her a Gold Medal.

You can listen to him address it himself here.  7:21 or so...

2. As to being reactionary. He has the most consistent, unwavering record of holding very strictly to the Constitution.

3. Anti-immigrant/nativist.≈#160;  He does believe we should secure our borders and not reward those that come in illegally. Therefore he also supports ending birthright citizenship an "incentive to come in illegally in order to have U.S. citizen children'.

4. Far, Far, Far Right....   Well a term that needs defining......But if the Constitution and the civil rights and liberties protected by it are "far, far, far, right"...... then so is Ron Paul.

5. Politician.....Now thats just mudslinging.

Is he a politician playing this game for personal greed and power?

Or is he a statesmen standing on principle and integrity?

Look at his record .....You decide.
