I am so VERY bleepin happy to have found this site. I'm only surprised there isn't a more signifigant opposition to what this site stands for within its "walls." I'm so VERY tired of what I view as a collective everybody-having-their-head-up-their-ass status quo. Although an idealist, I know that all IS NOT, in fact, right with the world. And it shames/disturbs/angers/amuses me how the government that I happen to be stuck with is behind a large portion of the atrocities I see. The amusement lies only with the reality that my, um, president is the ringleader of totalitarianism, and has the nerve to maintain a constant stance against dictators and anybody with any power that he doesn't like (and defends his position by simply calling them "evil" or "anti-American"). I wish everybody would watch the documentary "Bush Family Fortunes." The Bush dynasty has signifigant interests in the middle east period, and this documentary effectively explains Bush's obsession with Iraq. He doesn't give a damn about the people of Iraq. He cares about his own pocket, and the pockets of his family. And he certainly doesn't care about democracy in Iraq, or anywhere, since he's done a number on removing ours (whatever was left before he stole his way into office, that is) from existence. Yes, Bill, I support you! |

Are you asleep? Wake up and smell the coffee idiot. It's people like you who'll allow the atrocities to continue. Take pride in your birthright and defend our rights with the rest of us who are concerned and willing to do everything in our power to defuse this plan to strip us of our rights.

| i support the IDEA of democracy however we can tragically see by our country that it is NOT working; our nation started with a great concept of all men being created equal; that no longer applies as the Pres, Congressmen, Gov's, etc even "local" Congresses and even some wealthy individuals are EXEMPT from prosecution of any & all atrocities that are committed, ranging from murders, to selling drugs, to being pedifiles, etc; so, NO, the concept of democracy is good, but it has been correupted to the point that the people of this nation are basically slaves by the whole world but the DECEITFULNESS & deceptiveness, brainwashing, & LIES accepted as truths keeps most citizens in ignorance; others while aware, & demonstrating, & doing all they can to correct issues, are kept out of media because the Giant Corps who work hand in hand with our Gov AGAINST the people of the country, DO NOT ALLOW it in print, or on TV which is illegal in this country but being carried out anyway just as it was done in Hitler's day; they KNOW & UNDERSTAND the POWER of images, & print; in fact, in coverage of 911 where a journalist had connected the Gov with flying lessons of one of men flying the planes was told by Gov "I do not want to see this in PRINT." The voting is fixed in most instances, and someone like here in Oregon claims the "victory" (hand counted) when in reality he did NOT get it; when the people say NO, it is implemented anyway, & this is being carried out in multiple countries with disasterous results with the CLAIM (truthfully) we have done it for years in America; (and gotten away with it); the point is this: ONLY the WEALTHY, or the CORRUPTIBLE get the $ to get media (TV coverage); and like NOW the Clinton's manager (who would NEVER have gotten into Congress legitimately vote wise) said: no other media will be given to any other parties; (the 2 parties are united & put on a "show" of difference to FOOL the public into thinking this is NOT a dictatorship, but a "democracy"; it is NOT. Iraqi's flooded the streets & said THIS IS DICTATORSHIP: while Saddam Hussain was bad, we wish he were alive because you (American set up "Congress & Gov there with SAME mega Corps) are 1000's of times WORSE than he was! (bush said "we prefer to be called dysfunctional" not dictatorship & changed agenda from democracy to peace; REASON: folks at the TOP, all their friends, families, etc had $ galore, the people had NOTHING, NOTHING was done for them, the gas previously filling tanks for 55 cents, is NOW being billed at $1.36 & they are required to pay TAXES! (sound familiar?) |

Hi everybody. I definetely support democracy now. I think it's clear for everybody that something has to change in our world. I am from germany and I think it doesn´t matter where you from if you want to dissent and try to make our world a better place to live. Everbody who supports websites like this is important because everybody can do something. We all have to stand up and try to fight for Justice, human rights, and we need to free ourselves. If everybody thought he could change the world, the world would change. Even if the idea of democracy now almost sounds ridiculous for some people and they think it won´t work and it was hopeless, I think every little step is important to our world to change for the better. Some might think a new president for the united states would do it all right, but it isnt done with a new government. But of course the usa needs to change. Bush has done more damage to world than we could ever imagine, but even with a new president there are so many problems we have to fight. There has to be something we can do without power and money... We have to fight War, fascism, terrorism, military, exploitation, and ignorance. We have to liberate ourselves and fight for human rights, peace, justice and equality. We need more influence in political decisions, and so we have to do everything we can to make our voices heard. Yes, we have to show some unity and maybe someday we won't be defeated anymore.
Sorry for mistakes in language, I'm from germany. Thanks for reading. Peace, love, unity. |

Three points: 1) People basically want to be left alone. That's why they don't vote. 2) Few Americans recognize that we are losing our freedom. That's another reason they don't vote. 3) Those who are willing to vote don't really know what they're voting for. So they keep ping-ponging between Republicans and Democrats, the same two parties that are flushing our freedom down the toilet. These two parties have controlled our country for decades, and both are responsible for America's decline and ALL her problems. Our first step must be to stop voting for Republicans and Democrats, and to look for leaders who represent freedom and democracy the way our founding fathers intended. There is only one party that does that. I don't need to name it. It is growing larger and stronger with every election. But whether you support that party or not, it is imperative that you immediately stop supporting Republicans or Democrats. Midaria S, welcome to America. Josie N, never apologize for your English. Keep at it, and it will soon be better than the aveage American's English, and certainly better than the average American's German! To the rest of you, thanks for your support. Keep spreading the word, the hope, and, hopefully, the peace. |

| I pray to GOD that there is a way for the people to resume control of this once great nation. Too often I fear that we have went past the point of now return. It seems like whenever people start to speak out against the present government that the military is called in or our own militant police force to do whatever necessary to quiet them down. It's obvious that our government rules us with Nazi-like power and its hard for me to imagine us (the people) gaining control again. How do we implement democracy now? Where do we begin? Someone please tell me so I may do my part. It breaks my heart to see with my own eyes the destruction and forfeit of our glorious constitution. It seems to me like the majority of the American people have just given up thier rights and thier voice. They just don't care enough to do anything. But I'm with you Bill!!! All the way |

The problem is, that we all want to do something, to change something, but we don't know how. I don't know how. It won't work by posting comments to a forum. I think today (9/11) is an important day for all of us, a day that makes us think even more about our world. There are so many people who are just to naive, they believe everything the media says. Especially here in germany nobody really thinks about the things that happened. The most people are like "yea, Osama attacked two high buildings in the USA", it's just stupid. The people have to think about the backgrounds, the reasons and, the most important thing, who probably REALLY attacked e.g the world trade center and killed thousands of people for money and power. The germans think something like that could never happen to them, all the wars are far away and we are way more peaceful. They don't get that we become more and more like the us, that we support them. Almost nobody knows that after the 2nd world war, when germany was occupied, there was no real peace treaty, what means that germany is still dependent on the usa, we're no real state. (If I'm right-informed) What I want to say is that it is not just a problem of one state, it's a problem of all the people on earth and if there's war in iraq we, the germans, are also affected. (I hope I'm not the only one from germany.) We have to make all these ignorant people think about these topics. Peace. |

I would hope anyone who was concerned about todays world would use these posts to voice thier opinion. This is one of the few ways we are able to consolidate the truth and our opinions. What we need now is for people to start or join groups such as these and lead the vioce of the people. Obviously, these polotitions we `supposedly` vote for do not have the best interest in the people. Maybe at first they do, until they see the big money, then thier minds go crazy.
Whose money is it anyway? Its ours. Yours and mine. Its right now being spent to bail out the banks, (whom im sure have financial interests in many polititions) that sold our morgages and raised our interst rates when they knew we could not afford to make the payments. Did our so called "government of the people" care about it then? Olny when it caused the planet a financial meltdown. (Even Germany!)
I hope forums such as these will encourage us to take a stand and tell these jerks in America to quit bing greedy and let all prosper, for the way the American economy is designed, all who let prosper, prosper more than greed can achieve.
I would also like to encourage all to do your home work. Fox, CNBC, CBS, ABC, Headline News, and any other news agency are partial to the right or the left. DON`T BELIEVE THEM!!!! GET INVOLVED!! Write your local Government officials. Over and over and over again. Stick to their asses and make yourself be heard!! Wake up America!! Your rights and money is literaly being stollen from you!! What does `Uncle Sam` do when you don`t pay your taxes? He sticks to your ass!! |

I have been very interested in our government and also all other governments for the past few years. The one thing that is common ground in all governments is that it can only be as good as the people living in it and their beliefs. For instance, the USA will never again be a moral and fair nation as long as it's people are getting fatter, lazier and greedier. Greed being the worst enemy of all. This country is heading downhill and it has a full head of steam. This country used to not base it's decisions solely on making bigger profits. There are greater things in life besides that. Our country will not allow another to exist if it gets in the way of our greed.
Every government has pros and cons, capitalism will only sustain itself as long as their is exponential economic growth. It also promotes corruption like no other system. A true communist government also has pros and cons. I am not talking about Stalinism or Mao type of communism, but true communism, such as Christian Communism. Kind of like the Ahmish. The best thing about this is "everyone" works toward the betterment of their community as a whole. No one has to worry about being hungry, retirement pensions or not being able to afford health care, because everyone is an equal. The big con of this type of government is that it can not work if the country as a whole doesn't except being equal to another. A few bad apples can spoil the whole bunch.
Basically, it doesn't matter what type of government we have, if the people do not hold strong principle to heart it will eventually fail. There is not such a thing as perfect government and there never will be. The only way for one to be free of "voluntary slavery to money" is to hold relationships and trust above the importance of a nice car.
So, if i had to pick a solution to fix this nation the first step would be to simplify this country's government infrastructure as it has grown too complicated and can no longer be legitamately governed by the people. When our country was founded there was no telephones or any communication other than a horse. So, there had to be city, county and state government to efficiently run a nation. Well, it's the 21st century and we can communicate from alaska to florida in micro seconds. What i'm saying is, we no longer have the need for city, county and state government. It wastes money, time, progress and the ability to be ran by the people, because it is impossible for anyone to be well informed enough to vote on all of these contradicting laws. It should be one voice, one govenment.
Wouldn't it be nice if there was only one payroll, one law enforcement agency, one capital, one set of laws. It would be the most efficient government in history and it could finally be the true democracy it was intended for.
DEMOCRACY NOW! |

I think this is election of the new government is an important step for the USA, it's like a revolution that country really needs. It's going to be a hard job and it will take a long time to fix the things george w bush has destroyed in the past 8 years. You can't imagine that the united states were the first democracy of the world when you see what happened in the past years. Freedom, human rights, equality and justice were completely lost. America's soul is broken and I don't know if the glum feeling will ever disappear while looking at the american flag. peace, love, unity. make your voice heard. |
