I disagree, Obama is more of the same. McCain would have been the same case had he won. We have politicians who don't care about anything but money and I don't believe a word they say. Everyone over seas is so happy Americans decided we wanted Obama because he's a celebrity, but he stands for nothing. Wait until he gets into office to see what he's really all about and I don't think it's going to be all Hope and Change and new beginnings. Hope and change comes from us, not from a president, we need to get these guys, 90% of them, out of office. Unless your Congressperson or Senetor is named Ron Paul or Chuck Baldwin or John Adams or Ben Franklin, etc., and they aren't in there defending your civil liberties and basic rights, then vote them out! Politics should NEVER be about party loyalty, or conservatives vs. liberals, etc. it should be about freedom and I wish people outside the U.S. would stop voicing their criticism or approval of who we elect like we need to hear it. We don't tell you how to vote, don't tell us how to vote.

From what I've been seeing, Obama IS a step in the right direction.  Sure, he is a "Celebrity" but how else is someone going to get elected these days?  He IS doing some very progressive things.

Still, I like this site and http://www.ni4d.us/ - the National Initiative for Democracy.  I hope that with both we can start moving in an even better direction.
